How we rate a casino cashier: six criteria, one relative scale
Wallet Cashier rates the cashier, not the games. For every payment method we cover, each casino gets a score out of 10 built from six criteria, and this page shows how each one is counted.

What we look at
A score belongs to one casino and one method: a casino can score 9.2 for Payz and 7.8 for iDebit. Every input comes from the casino's own banking page, terms or cashier, with the date we read it.

The scale
The scale is relative. In each criterion, the best value we found at any casino accepting Canadian players scores 10, and the others are scored against it. On September 26, 2026 those best values were a $10 minimum deposit, no minimum withdrawal, and a payout target of one hour.
For minimums and payout time, where lower is better, a casino scores 10 − 5 × (its value − the best value) ÷ its value. A casino twice as slow as the best loses 2.5 points; however far behind, it keeps at least 5 for a published figure. The overall score is the weighted mean, rounded to one decimal. When a better value appears at a new casino, the scale moves and the date on the page changes.
A missing number scores zero for that criterion. "Not published" is a fact about the casino, and the table shows it that way rather than filling the gap with a guess.
What doesn't change a score
- Commission. Some casinos pay us when you open an account through our links. The payment is not an input, and a casino with no programme would be scored the same way.
- Welcome offers. Bonus size is shown for context outside Ontario, but it is not a criterion. Wagering rules decide how much of it can be withdrawn, and they vary by game.
- Game library and design. This site covers the cashier only.
Ontario and the other provinces
Ontario and Alberta run regulated markets with their own registered sites. Most casinos in our tables are offshore sites that exclude Ontario in their terms; when you choose Ontario at the top of a page, their buttons and offers are hidden and the note says why. Offshore casinos are not licensed in Canada; we quote the licence each one names in the footer of its own site.
Dates and corrections
Every table carries the date we read the source. We recheck banking pages every four to eight weeks. If a casino or a wallet changes a number, write to us with the link and we will recheck it within a week.
