Gamblers Anonymous
Gamblers Anonymous has no Canadian phone line. Its meetings in Canada are listed in the meeting finder on its website, city by city.Source [7]
Tools inside a casino account
Most casino accounts let you set these limits yourself, usually under "Responsible gaming" in the account menu:
- A deposit limit per day, week or month.
- A session reminder or time limit.
- A cooling-off period of a day to a few weeks.
- Self-exclusion for six months or longer.
The limit page shows when a new limit starts; note that date. Self-exclusion at one offshore casino covers only that casino, so it has to be requested at each site separately. Ontario and Alberta run their own programmes for regulated sites.
If you pay by e-wallet or bank transfer
Payment settings help as well. You can remove a saved card or wallet from the casino cashier, close an e-wallet you only use for gambling, and ask your bank which spending controls it offers on your card and online banking.
